UPDATED MUC COVID 19 – Practices & Protocols #2 (19 March 2020)

Dear members and friends of Manningham Uniting Church,

Following the latest advice, we are suspending all of our worship services until further notice, starting from this Sunday 22 March. This is so that we can keep everyone safe and, as much as we can, slow down the spread of the COVID19 in the community.

This week, a small team has been working to identify ways we could still offer worship to you in case this happened. On the church website, we will have a script for Rev Bob’s service which would have been led at Westfield Drive this week. Rev Claire is preparing with a team of church members a service with audio visual prayers, readings, intergenerational activity and recorded reflection. More details are on their way, but this message is just to keep you informed.

If you know of people without access to email who won’t receive this message, please phone them. It’s better to get 2 calls than none. We are organising pastoral care phone trees but don’t want to miss anyone in the meantime.

Can we please remind you of the following contact points for support.

For spiritual and pastoral support:

  • Rev Claire 0410 827 597
