Holy Habits is written by Rev Andrew Roberts and is a form of spiritual disciplines based on Luke’s model of a church of all ages in Acts 2:42-47. It focusses on ten practices and invites us to reflect on how they can be lived within gathered church community and wherever we live our day by day lives
Prayer walking has a long tradition. Centuries ago, monks and nuns walked in circles or around the cloisters and prayed silently or recited psalms. Some people walk through their neighbourhoods or in the bush and praying as they go, being intentional about listening for the Spirit and allowing her to guide them and their prayer.
This prayer resource is offered in the hope that it will sustain you whilst we are worshipping in different places. Just because we are not gathering together in one place as we would usually do on a Sunday morning, it doesn’t mean we aren’t gathering together as a community of faith and prayer.
